Code: Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII Dirge of Cerberus -Lost Episode-: Final Fantasy VII Dissidia: Final Fantasy Itadaki Street Special You would only say that they do not count cause either you have never played them and/or you cannot play them due to some limitations you have...You should also play Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls. If you finish Final Fantasy II, a side story will be unlocked, Soul of Rebirth...which is quite interesting. I am waiting for Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII to be released. It will be interesting to know what really happened before the events of Last Order. Also, I am fan of the RPG Parasite Eve. I guess it did not sold well in Japan that's why Squaresoft did not release another sequel after Parasite Eve 2. Another one that I remembered is Fullmetal Alchemist. It looks fine to me. It's just that it did not sell much here in NA. Last edited by vincent_10_27 : 05-16-2007 at 05:03 PM. | |

| Ultimate Moé ![]() ![]() ![]() | To break this "FF honoring" moment, I will say that besides the RPGs mentioned already, I would like to add that I've played: Fallout Fallout 2 Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel Rage of Mages Rage of Mages 2 Hunter: The Reckoning Hunter: The Reckoning - Redeemer

Posts: 26 | Wow, I am shocked. Shocked and amazed. No one's even mentioned Xenogears yet. Well, ok, D4rkLigh7 did mention Xenosaga volumes 1 through 3, but for me Xenogears is a far higher tier than all of the three. Actually, to be honest, I've always upheld Xenogears to be the #1 no matter what else came along, (and that's obviously saying a lot since Final Fantasy VII is also worthy of that title); though, I got to say, these days it's not hard to trump an RPG. It's a rather taboo subject in my household, but as of late I've seriously begun to think RPG makers / directors, what have you, just can't "make 'em like they used to." Now, I'm not going to pretend to be the God of RPG's, who knows everything from beginning to end, but considering all the reviews I've read in addition to the games I've played first hand, there doesn't seem to be very many RPG's beyond the PSX era that "have it all." Even Final Fantasy XII had it's issues: a revolutionary, and welcome, change in combat for the series, yes, but many people thought the story was rather...well, not necessarily lacking, but more like cliched -- time-worn-out. Now, by no means do you guys have to agree with me, this is just my spiel on that subject / issue, but I always like a second opinion. ![]() |

Posts: 1,707 | I played Xenogears for about 3 hours and got board as hell of it. I still consider FFVII to be the number one RPG, EVER. Then I'd have to say FFIX was my second all time favoriet.
