Does anybody here like the Dynasty warriors series?

... I only played the first one, so I am probably way behind on the storyline (I'd heard that they are all interconnected in some way or another), but for what my opinion can count, I thought the first installment was a good game, especially for one of the fighting genre.

What are the four other games in the series like, if someone can give a general summary of them? I have been recently thinking about purchasing at least one of them.

I've played the 4th game only. It's not too bad of a game except the annoying camera angles. But the fact that it's based off the Romance of Three Kingdoms (at least the characters) makes it an interesting game to play. In fact, I was gonna go back to playing DW4 Hyper since I have a better machine.

I played Dynasty Warriors but I like the Samurai Warriors better. It's simply because most of the characters in Samurai Warriors are more familiar than Dynasty Warriors. Dynasty Warriors focuses on the Chinese history while the Samurai Warriors focuses on the Japanese one. I like the Bakumatsu scenarios very much. Makes me remember lots of scenes from some anime that I saw.

Well anyways i would reccomend either series Empires Games, The empires is like an expansion.
