| Special Member | Metal Gear Series All right we all heard that the series will wrap up on the ps3. Kojima-san said that he wanted to leave the MGS and start other projects... so having about 5 titles as of now. have you ever played one? well, me, i did... i used to play Metal Gear but not on the MSX...i dont even have an idea what MSX is that time...i played the game from a NES port... then i skipped Metal Gear 2...cause for some reason, it was only available for MSX. then played Metal Gear Solid on the PS1 system, Metal Gear Solid 2 : Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid : Snake Eater for PS2 systems...and the Metal Gear 2 port for the PS2 system that come along with MGS3:Subsistence... overall i like the series...lots of mystery...although most of the characters are not real...at least it adds challenge and fun to the game... And im definitely gonna get MGS4:Guns of Patriots for PS3!!! |

| - | I played the NES port and the MSX version though the MSX one was through emulation for the european console version. I've played MGS, MGS2, and MGS3 on the Playstation and Playstation2 respectively. I've play MGS2 Substance and MSG3 Subsistance. I liked Subsistance more than Substance. | Didn't he say that he wanted to leave the series after Metal Gear Solid 2? Did he? No way is Sony going to let the series end, with GTA no longer exclusive it and Final Fantasy are Sony's biggest exclusives. Though I would rather have a new Zone of the Enders game. . . | |

| Special Member | Actually, Kojima-san never said he wanted to leave the series at Metal Gear Solid 2 : Sons of Liberty, he said that time that he wanted to start a new production. This was his statement on the Metal Gear Video that came along when you pre-ordered Metal Gear Solid 3 : Subsistence. By going to Metal Gear Solid 4 : Guns of Patriots, he told the media that he is wrapping things up and will start as a producer in other titles, he will leave directing behind. As you can see, Metal Gear Ac!d, Metal Gear Ac!d 2, and Metal Gear Solid : Digital Graphic Novel were all under Kojima Productions, without him being credited as the Director, but only one of the Creators/Producers. As per Sony, the company can't disclose Metal Gear Solid Series whether Kojima-san wanted to continue it or not, why? because the franchise of Metal Gear was never bought by Sony, Konami still owns the rights and license for it. if you don't know as well, Final Fantasy were not also a Sony Exclusive game. So Sony is of no control of these games. Whether or not to finish the game series, that's up to the development team. Now, you might have in question why did Kojima-san continued up to the 4th saga of Solid series. That is because of fan pressure and he's given a good funding for this project to continue. |
