| What's your favourite console of the current generation? While I like the variety and ingenuity of DS games, the various uses of the PSP and the excellent media options of the PS3, my favourite is the Xbox 360. I've wasted thousands of hours of my life, slumped on the sofa, controller in hand, eyeballs slowly drying up like raisins on that console. I think it has the best line up of games, the most comfortable controller and the Kinect has given me the (largely theoretical) opportunity to get fit in the comfort of my own living room. My favourite games are the Mass Effect and Dragon Age series. |

| wandering around ![]() ![]() | For me it was between PC and the Xbox 360. I would have chose both if it was possible, but since it wasn't I chose the Xbox 360 as I use it most at the moment. Polaris makes a good point.. but if you have a tendency to have reoccurring problems with laptops/desktops like I always seem to have (just my luck lol) then an actual gaming console could fulfill your gaming needs more. :P Both great games.. ^_^

| Beginner ![]() | Believe it or not, I use my Xbox as a DVD player/jukebox more then I use it to play video games. I love role-playing games and my favorite RPG is a cute anime style one called Eternal Sonata. Because you have the choice of either English dialogue or Japanese with sub-titles, it really does make it feel like you're "playing" an anime. When I'm not involved with games, I'm usually jamming out to all the Techno music I've stored on my hard drive. I think the only way for me to be interested in purchasing a PS3 would be if they (Square soft/Squarenix, whatever) made a Final Fantasy VII for it. |

| Yeah, I have Eternal Sonata, it's one of the few JRPGs I like. I'm just not really a fan of turn based combat, I prefer western RPGs like Fallout 3, Red Dead Redemption and Dragon Age. I think I just like the idea of the whole game being in the fevered mind of a dying Chopin. It was the right kind of crazy for me. |
