Salutations everybody. I am in dire need on updating my game collection. If you could recommend any good stuff in gamecube, ps2, super nintendo, and/or genesis that will be great. I will accept any genre of games except sports and any rpg that was released by Square Enix (i.e. Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, etc, etc.). Thx in advance. I m going to write down the recommends on my to get list for the time being. Looking forward to reading them. I ll read you later.

okay first off game cube umm ,some harvest moon games,mario cart double dash,second sight, shadow the hedg hog, pokemon GX, oo7, tony halk American wast land,
PS2 dot. hack gu vol,1,2,3 Masiv Mmulti player online not for real just the the people i love thes the best , black need for speed games ,jak2,3 draken gaurd 1,2 caselvainea persona 3 shinning forses games rouge gallaxy some of them i dont know if by squar enic.

Well... I don't have PS2, so I don't help you with this... but I belive that I can be helpful...

First Game Cube... errr... I have Game Cube, but really I don't know many about this console... "Resident Evil 1,2,3,Zero, 4" and "Eternal Darkness" could be good for survival horror (I recomend the 1 and 4), "SNK vs. Capcom" and "Super Smash Bros. Melee" could be good figthing options, I also heard that the "Metroid Prime" saga is very good, "The legend of Zelda: Wind weaker" is good, also "Mario Kart: Double Dash" is a good multiplayer game, if you have some firends and you can with them regulary the "Mario Party" games can be a good option

Super Nintendo... one of my favorite consoles... first you can try shooters like "Sunset Raiders", "Axelay" and "Contra 3". You should try "Super Castlevania IV" and "Castlevania: Dracula X", there are good RPGs other than the ones made by Square... what about the "Terranigma" saga? ("Soulblazer", "Illusion of Gaia" and "Terranigma"), "Earthbound", the "Lufia" saga, "The Legend of Zelda: A link to the Past" and "Super Mario RPG" also are good. Another game that you can try could be "Demon's Crest" it's good and the final (the real final boss) is a true bastard. Any of "Street Figther", "Ultimate Mortal Kombat", "Samurai Showdown" and "Killer Instinct" are good figthing options. If you like platforms there are "Super Mario World", "Yoshi's island", "Super Mario All Stars" and the "Donkey Kong Country" saga, also you can try "Kirby Super star". In "beat them up" are the "Final Fight" saga, "Knights of the Round", "Captain Commando", and "Ninja Gaiden Trilogy". The "Megaman" saga (6, X, X2 and X3) also is good, Another that you must play is "Super Metroid" and "Tetris Attack" (belive me IS GOOD), finally "Mario Kart" and "F-Zero" are the runnig (I don't know how the genre is said in english)

Finally the Sega Genesis... I only know two good games for this console... "Castlevania: Bloodlines" and "Devil Crush"...

On the GC, I absolutely loved Eternal Darkness. A brilliant game that plays with your mind, and has plenty of replay value. A great story, and some very interesting puzzles.

On the PS2, the .hack series is a must have if you liked the anime. Some people have said they are difficult to get hold of, but I didn't have a problem in the UK... just quite expensive second hand. The gameplay is a little repetitive, but you don't have to do the level up grind if you don't want to.

I also love ICO on the PS2. Quite an old game now, but the graphics are quite impressive for the day. The story and atmosphere are what make this game so excellent, so if you can find it, I really recommend it.

Well...I can recommend you a whole boatload of RPG games for the PS2, since RPGs are my speciality. Hmm...I suggest you get your hands on the Shin Megami Tensei series. A number of these have been released here on Western shores. SMT: Nocturne, SMT: Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner 1 & 2, SMT: Persona 3. All these games have great story, interesting twists to turn-based battles, and *gasp* accurate depictions of various mythological creatures that are present in the games unlike a certain RPG franchise (I'm looking at you Final Fantasy). The SMT series is for a mature audience, hence the reason why all their games are rated M. These games are definitely not for the faint of heart.

Also I would also recommend some games published by Square-Enix (Don't worry, it ain't any game Square-soft made with their dirty little hands): Valkryie Profile 2: Silmeria, and Star Ocean: Till The End of Time. If you don't want to get Star Ocean, then get VP2. The game has absolutely stunning graphics. It pushes the specs on the PS2;the game looks more like a next-gen game than a game for the PS2. o.O
