It's that time of the year yet again....

So here we are in February and Valentine's Day is just right around the corner.

I know, i know, just another excuse to spend money after Xmas and all but for the ppl out there that have a sweetie that they adore what are your special plans to knock them off their feet for this special day for lovers?

now please keep it PG but romantic is greatly appreciated.

bah humbug...
its " singles awareness day " and its not a actual holiday its just a marketing scam to get rid of chocolates and stuffed animals.. this in turn makes g irls gain weight and have to go to the gym. that or ur single and you order a pizza or something similar and gain weight that way with the same end result... gym.
all in all a useless holiday, ppl should feel loved every day, not just ' one special day a year '

i dont wait around for much of anything :P its not me at all. plus i dunno, ppl always seem to have problems on vday, its just highly overrated.. and the sad thing is if you dont get anything u feel like crap.. i mean, its just rediculous. another way to make ppl feel worse about themselves than the media already makes them feel. just like the stereotype that you have to be 100lbs to be 'pretty'. lol 120 years ago, and all the way into the midevil times, it was 'pretty' to be about 150-160lbs... now if you weigh that much you are 'fat' and 'ugly'. all these labels that the media makes out to be "the norm" is just more and more ways to make sure councelors have jobs. ^_^ and that is the end of my rant! ... for now

Valentine's Day for me is watching all the guys impress their girlfriends and either continue their relationship or break up. Also, around 95% of the world will be on MySpace sending messages and posting stupid chain letters and being emo. The 14th of February is only just another day for me. I get to talk to my younger MSN female friends about anything other than Valentine's Day. Call me a loser but I know well enough that I still have 50+ years more of my life to find true love or stay a virgin.

I think valentines day is a time to reaffirm your relationship with someone and make sure they know exactly how you feel. It also gives single people a chance to confess to someone they like with a little anonimity.

For valentines, we're going to our favourite sushi restaurant and getting takeout, so we can both crash out at home and have a glass of wine with it. I've already bought him a couple of games for the 360 (yes, I know its romantic.... guess I'll just wrap it in pink paper

), and I've asked for some front fog lights for my car (again, who says romance is dead!)

Might also be a day we set a date for the wedding... who knows ^^

About that last comment, once you set a date for the wedding, make sure that you and your other are still together up to that day. My brother's friend was engaged to his fiancé for almost a year but just last month, they had broken up (they were supposed to get married in April). That's just my 2 cents when someone else plans to get wedded on a certain day.
