First of all, thank you for your patience during the rather drastic upgrades that sort of broke more things than it fixed. Most of the problems have been fixed thanks to you guys reporting the issues and letting us know where they were happening most. As a reward, I would like some feedback from you guys, on the direction that the gallery is soon headed.

The biggest proposed change, users will have the ability to tag/edit/move images to their appropriate locations. So rather than just browse and right click-> save as, you can do something to help datorrents gallery!

Users will not be able to delete images, but move them to their respective places, also, the persons that assist the most in sorting things and such, will receive among other things (Shauna's cool point stuff), a bonus to your points for helping out. How that will work, we'll determine later though. But those can be used for cool custom effects for your display name, modified/custom titles, and such. Also people that contribute the most assistance, depending on cir***stance, may possibly be invited as staff, or honorary staff, with some forum permissions as well.

The biggest reward, is knowing that you've done a great service, and helped datorrents in bringing you bigger and better things. With our plans, and such, the projects in planning will make datorrents gallery, one of (if not, THE), largest anime/asian galleries on the face of the planet. In the near future, we are looking at importing, nearly 200,000+ (just shy of a quarter MILLION) images, totalling 30-40 GB. The other perk to this, as many people were familiar with the vanishing CG Sets Gallery, is that with everyone's help on sorting the huge amount pending upload... The staff involved in the CG sets, can thus focus on that as well. I won't go into great detail regarding that, but we have literally thousands of CG sets from erogames from many years past, ac***ulated, and are working on importing those into a special gallery. So, there's more than a simple benefit of a custom title, or honorary staff, there's MUCH more down the road, and to be honest, we can and do need your help to make these things a reality!

As this is an open invite, even for the lurkers here too that rarely upload : you already are there, whats an extra 2 mouse clicks, or typing in a series name if you know it You get to brag that you know things that even we don't!!!

I would just want to say that requesting to move a pic, or being able to move it one's self, is a great idea. I don't know how many tentacle pics wind up in the unsorted hentai section. XP

I feel your pain, nothing like going through hentai and seeing a furry, or guro, or something completely unexpected! Hopefully soon, that will be EASILY fixed

Sounds like a good idea. I am more of a lurker on this forum and tend to spend most of my time in the galleries, this kind of suits me quite well ^^
