Perhaps you would like to give us some ideas on how to sort it ?

Alphabetically by uploader -- a bit silly since some uploaders have put in over a hundred items.

Alphabetically by title -- errrr maybe not - have you read the titles of some of them..... and there are again many with the same titles.

Sorted by artist - many of them are of unknown origin/author.

Sorted by category -- well the categories are fairly broad, but this is how they are organised now - and the moderators responsible for it have quite a large job making sure that everything is uploaded to the correct category.

Please consider that any change to the way it is sorted means rewriting the database and then recoding all the already uploaded files. This would be a major job for any group to tackle and some things would be bound to come in 2 or 3 categories if we narrowed them.

I'm sorry but at the moment it is impracticable to consider any other way of sorting them, than by time/date of upload and broad category.

Please note this is not my area of expertise and I am nothing to do with the gallery.

Oldest to newest. But you know, there is an option to view the images in a cirtain order... like views+

dolphinm is right, it is hard to organize in a specific way. So we will gonna keep it the way as it right now
