One question about the reporting policy... Does it matter which image I report, since there are "older" and "newer" ones? (Duplicates, that is)

when you report duplicates

you must find two images that look identical. So between 2 images we will delete the newer ones. so members need to report the newer one image, then in the report comment, paste the link of the older one image. Then the mods will handle it

Long time lurker first time poster, so hi.

There have been a few images I remember seeing but later couldn't find. I think they might have been put in the wrong gallery and deleted, the thing is I'm fairly certain they were unique among the galleries. I'm not sure whether it's possible to move images but if perhaps images didn't fit a gallery but there was no reason they couldn't be on the site they could transferred to a "sin bin" gallery before deletion. There users can be expected to use the discussion to suggest the correct gallery and report if there is a duplicate.

Also having more than once spent over an hour looking for an image before deciding it's probably been deleted it would be nice if there was some list kept of what's been deleted and why. That may be a lot of work and it just be me being a bit OCD about missing images.

I thought I'd give something back and have a look through some of the galleries to report improperly categorised or duplicate pictures. The scale of the problem became clear pretty quick, on some galeries it seemed like there was something wrong on at least one image on each page (with pages at 30) and even several pages in a row of entirely of images that shouldn't be there.

I can see that managing such a large archive is a massive task. It might be better to slacken the requirements quite a lot and give up on deleting anything except duplicates, photos and 3D's and accept miscategorized images. Current efforts, while noble, don't seem to be cutting it in maintaining the guidelines and enforcing them risks losing images. I think the most prevalent breach is images of western style or from western cartoons, but I think it would be a mistake to wipe out so many images, perhaps a more permanent sin bin for images that don't quite fit but are ok to host, but it would probably need a sub gallery of every gallery to work well so that's some major extra gallery creep.

The alternative to improving things I think would be to some how mobilise the community to help maintain it. I guess the engine is off the shelf so it's hard to add features but as others have mentioned community tagging would be useful.

One last thing, another vote for a separate Furry Yaoi Gallery.

That's just my thoughts but the galleries are pretty awesome already. A big thank you to all involved for providing them!

can we get more pokemon Dawn photos i can,t find more on my other sites and their mare some sites i do not know where they are better i wanted to know if we could find a bunch of pokemon pics of trainer Dawn/hikari

I have a suggestion, why not create a wallpaper section in the gallery? I'm sure everyone here has plenty of wallpapers to share, more than enough to create a section by itself.

We already have the wallpaper section, but I dont know can members upload their wallpapers to that section, since it is place under the donator's area.
