been there,done that,we had nothing but trouble with it.

ichigo worked some nights all night long straightening out things that users did not post correctly.

What's the word on tags being added to images? I could seeing it helping immensely in preventing duplicate post and what not. I thought I had seen it mentioned somewhere, but was wondering if and when it was expected to arrive.

but we already input that within the rule guildline

I've noticed under the advance search options for the gallery that posts are not included by default in the search fields. Since this is the only way users have to tag images would it be possible to make this a default.

For example, a search for Focke (an artist) without posts yields 15 images. With posts, it includes 37. (Thanks to my man, Ganossa, for tagging his images after they were identified.) Since inactive users can't update their tags this may be the next best way to go.

Of course, it all comes back to posters' willingness to tag things in the first place. But I'll do my best to help people find what they're looking for.

Separate gallery for furry yaoi (I think someone has requested it already though)

Also, since there are a lot of pictures with "unknown" artist/series, it would be great if one could edit the pic information and add the name of an artist/a series, if someone knew better.
Same goes with labels too. Say, someone added a pic in loli gallery and the only label in that pic would be "loli"... I think you got the point. (And that really happens a lot)

Nothing more to complain about, at least for now

Oh, one more thing.
There are a massive amount of lurkers, who really never even look at the forums, so you can't expect that everyone at DaT would know about those kinds of things.
This is the first time I heard about those. Not that I would be a full time lurker.

well, we tell members to read through the guideline once they come in. If they choose not to read it, thats fine. But if they break the rules we will still give warnings etc.

The excuses of "dont know the rules" or "where are the rules" didnt work anymore. Because too many people abuse them even we provide the link for them to read.

We have this wonderful idea here at Datorrents.

If you don't know for sure, ask a mod. Or another veteran member if you feel that it isn't a staff needed matter.
The I don't know excuse just doesn't fly here.

Mistakes happen, and I can see that. Just certain things are almost impossible to not notice. It's more of a mod's decision on whether it was a forgivable mistake vs one we can't let slide with just a warning.

The shota pics at the end of yaoi gallery could be removed, since the same pics can be found from shota gallery nowadays (Pretty much all of them... I should know

)
I don't know if there is a similar "problem" with other galleries

Duplicates is ongoing problem for all galleries.

So we mods, will look out for them

members can report them when you spot one
