Yaoi Overdose

First off, sorry if this is in the wrong thread, it seemed the most logical place.

Second of all, let me be unmistakably clear that I'm not bashing anybody's preferences as far their tastes are concerned. To each his own!

But, is it just me or does it seem like under 25% of all art posted now is not yaoi? I admit, there is some great yaoi art out there, though I prefer it's alternative; but why the sudden remission of non-yaoi art?

This post is meant to be a motivator to post more non-yaoi, not a demotivator to yaoi. I'd post images myself but unfortunately 99.5% of what I have, I got from DA in the first place. And probably the other .5% already exists here anyway.

Am I off base here? What do you all think?

I never really pay attention, on how much Yaoi are being upload.

Non-Yaoi, what is that mean anyway? so any pics outside of Yaoi will be call "non-yaoi"? or it actually mean something else?

well, you could just view as there is an increase of yaoi artwork that falls under diffrent categores. Like the yaoi in the furry section.

Yet, it still falls under that category and would still be posted there. there is bound to be increases and decreases in how much certain forms of artwork are posted.

Also, certain categories have artwork that fit mulriple categories so you have to pick which is best. Like i was saying with the furry yaoi, it is yaoi, but furrys can not go in that section. As the furry section accepts all furry artwork, it is posted under there.

You'll just have to live with the yaoi artwork and wait for other image types to be posted, and I'm sure you couldn't have looked at every image Datorrents has. So try looking through earlier images instead of new ones.

I've checked around every section of the Imageboard and almost half of galley has female pics, female furry, lolikon, etc, but not enough Yaoi. I mean I've searched all over the net and other found 2 sites that have good Yaoi rate and this is:

Each time I search Yaoi, Yuri or porn comes up. I think Da Torrents has a pretty good balance between Yaoi, Yuri, Shota, Furry, and the other sections as well. Everyone wants to contribute to the forms of art they love, theres nothing wrong with that. So its like a business it will either up or go down, but that only means it gets better. And I agree with Cyal that Da Torrents has a TON of pages that has different art, you just have to search to get your overdose of the art you love. Am I right?

i have a lot of yaoi no furry though i just don't come here and posted because every time i go in the yaoi section i get blinded by gay comic book people and last time i checked they don't count nor do anyone want to see them kind of makes me think why should i post and not get any back oh and i have everything so if anyone wants some pic just pm me lol

I think there are more yaoi fans then regular kinds since you see yaoi outnumbering everything on fic sites too but maybe yaoi fans are just extra zealous

i think it's to all our benefits that more of "anything" is posted. that shows people are contributing and helping the community no matter what or how much of a certain thing they are posting.
