Your first furry

What is the first Furry you ever saw? I'm still not sure what defines a Furry (any animal that has human traits?). Mine would either be the first one to appear in "Jungle Book", or "Fritz The Cat".

Furry seems to mean anthropomorphic animals.

I've never really considered "animals that run around and talk" to be furries.. just animals that are definitely human in shape.

I honestly forget, since I was just wandering around and stumbled over some in a gallery on an artist's site.

I've never been too impressed with it. o_O

I'm not disgusted or anything. I just have never been interested in it.

As a furry i can tell you that unless you are a furry you will never be able to identify what is and what isn't. It's not something that can really be explained
there are general guidelines but there are so many exceptions to them that it is almost useless to follow them.

when you cassify somthing as furry it generally falls into certain categories:

actual animals as we know them now (in real life) which have fur

Chordates (Animals with vertebrae) given human human characteristics (speech, humanoid form, etc..

Humans who are Furries, (which has its own insanely complex description)

Furry Art only consists of animals in human form Ranging from mostly human to mostly animal and everywhere in between

Now with that description of furry art, you know what is not furry.
but the common mistake people make is saying everything in that description IS furry, becuase a lot isn't.

think of it like boxes...

all furry art will fit in box 1
but just becuase it will fit in box 1, doesn't automatically make it furry art.

people use the furry gallery as box 1, and that's their mistake.

As to how to sort of what it furry and what isn't FROM box 1, that is complex. Which is why no one bothers to do it.

the first actually close to a real furry is saw was digimon which is the closest to any real furry i've seen here which u guys only put hentai up of it i actually draw furry typesthat really look half human half animal but there is the mistake alot of poeple make is that furry automatically is hentai but it isn't anywhere close to that unless u r ceriously demented

sonic and amy furries i'm a sonic nerd so i typed in soinc x to get free episodes and what i got was sonic xxx i waz like wtf but it looked good then i herd of this thing called hentai and my friend gave me a link to here ahhhhh i love how theres no way they can prove that i'm 14 you can just type in any age probly most of the people here are 13/14 i know my 13 year old friend came here alot and i showed my 9 year old friend this he loved it
