Ok....but there was a solution. I may sound like an idiot here, but....isn't there any way you could have had a system where when the user entered the password that they wanted for their user account, that password would be sent directly to you and your database?? And if they changed the password, the system would take note of THAT as well? I'm sorry, but I just rather liked the idea of personal galleries......if you had the passwords, those galleries could be searched and inspected as well by system administrators, right? Hmmm....Just a thought.....but...wouldn't this work?? Or am I stupid...?

Currently, all of the images from the personal galleries are gone, deleted, poof. Users had a month's warning that the galleries would be removed and to download/save anything to their PC that they wanted to keep in that regard.

As for the upgrades/new gallery. Some snags have been going on and things are ending up taking much longer than previously thought. Some of the features we had initially hoped/wanted/etc, do not really seem feasible and in the end, we may end up settling with VBgallery and the upgrades to it (which have improved the loading speed and such greatly.)

Unfortunately with that, comes the fact that we will be locked into its usage indefinitely because of the way it operates and such, and moving away from it at a later point will be more difficult than moving away from it say, now? As well, for a gallery of this size, there are VERY few alternatives, only 2-3 on the market actually, and VBGallery is the only one that can scale to the size we have currently.

I will try to keep you guys updated on how things are going, and as they progress/don't progress, but it most likely seems we are going to be sticking with VBGallery/photopost's software for the time being simply because moving away from it is going to be too massive an undertaking currently

Wish I had better news right now, but that's how things are going right now.

I haven't been reading many posts these past few weeks but I just decided to read these important ones good luck on the upgrades on the gallery
I also saw all the doujins are gonna be removed and I'd be upset if I didn't have back ups for them good luck and have lots of fun deleting them all half of the shota gallery is Doujins thanks to Loli Ferris and thatguyagain
