Gallery filtering

I know this problem appears for many uploaders who contribute to the gallery and I pray that one of the higher ups of DAT see this and give it some thought.

I was looking through the yaoi gallery when I noticed someone uploaded a yaoi that was on the lines of a furry and made a comment on wether he thought it should be in the yaoi or not. Now, I run into this problem sometimes,too. Hentai like this always takes a turn somewhere along the line and mixes together so, I'm wondering if we could talk about how to filter these things out?

The first thing I want to bring to the table is the basics:

Yaoi: Images or manga SPECIFICLY involving relations with anime adult males beyond ages of about 17+ or at least having features of an adult seme and uke (if anyone can post a link to specifiy this, please do.^_^)

shota: Images or manga SPECIFICLY involving relations with anime of males at the limits of 16 and lower (and yes, I'm talking about babies,too) or at least having features of someone under the ages of a person legally allowed to have sex (and that's what makes it so disgustingly delicious,lol)with someone of the same age or higher (if anyone can post a link to specifiy this, please do.^_^)

lolikon: Images or manga (yeah,I've copied and pasted this at this point lol)SPECIFICLY involving relations with anime of females at the limits of 16 and lower (mostly about 10 or of such) or at least having features of someone under the ages of a person legally allowed to have sex with someone of the same age or higher (if anyone can post a link to specifiy this, please do.^_^)

yuri: Images or manga SPECIFICLY involving relations with anime females at 17+ or at least having features of someone at the age of an adult having relations with each other.

AND NOW THE PART WHERE THINGS GET CRAZY LOL

HENTAI: Images or manga SPECIFICLY involving relations with anime males and females, straight sex, ages and features are random (mostly at legal ages) and of specific shows,movies or games already made

GURO:Images or manga SPECIFICLY involving relations with anime genders with opposite or same sex, at any age, torturing one or the other in many ways lol (I tried my best to brake this down XD)

TENTACLE FUN OR TENTALCES (for those specific people out there XD):Images or manga SPECIFICLY involving rape,sex or a relationship with anime genders of same or opposite sex with anything relating to a tentacle (i.e snake,tree branch, octopus and if u let your mind run off somewhere you'll figure out the rest,etc.^_^)

Neko and others:Images or manga SPECIFICLY involving relations with anime females with cat like or other body parts having relations with each other;age is random (now this part, I am DEFINITELY confused on, I don't even glance a look at the gallery tile so if anyone knows more on this,say so) AND WHY ISN'T THERE A MALE SECTION FOR THIS?!?!(just a thought, I wouldn't be interested in this)

FUTA:Images or manga SPECIFICLY involving relations with anime females or females with males
that have male body parts (i.e penis); age is also random (You don't see US coming out with a male futa?!?! Probably because it would just end up a female or a transexual XD O.O)

FURRY:Images or manga SPECIFICLY involving relations with anime people or either gender that look like animals (people that look like cats,tigers,dogs,wolves,etc.); age is random

ECCHI:Images or manga SPECIFICLY involving relations with anime people of either gender (I believe, I'm going on the edge with this one) In sexy positions wearing beach clothes or anything that SLIGHTLY shows nudity; age is random

BEASTIALITY (A SECTION NOT HERE):Images or manga SPECIFICLY involving relations with anime males or females having sex with anime animals;age is random (this is currently the hentai series (unsorted things) section for those that don't know (got in trouble for that one, so u guys can either, "Listen and learn or LIVE and learn" - My 8 grade math teacher)

I think that kinda of filters everything that the gallerys comprise of (besides the "MASS UPLOADS" section, which im just not gonna touch basis on) and you guys can elaborate on that and give me your feed back. I know about the things that 'cause confusion (shota & yaoi furries are what I call them) but I just put them in the furry category since they are after all,FURRIES. I also have a problem when it comes to things like a buff yaoi guy with shota kids, but since shota often involves an adult with a child, I just put it in shota.

i don't agree with loli being 16 years of age,thats more like high school than loli. loli is more preteen and under developed without pubic hair. at 16 there is already pubic hair and in some cases large breast. i move alot of this kind of pics out of loli into the hentai section.

I think shota can be with an onder men and i boy it does not have to be 2 boy , but some please like the 2 boy idea better then other welt it comes to shota ( sorry if i did something wrong i sometimes forget the rules , sorry)

Well, given the fact, loli and shota are by definition, younger, usually pre-puberty... but that also goes by the drawing style/artist's interpretation, take one of the best examples, Sasami from Tenchi Muyo, she looks like a 10-12 year old, but in the story line, is over a few hundred years old, so by the 16+ rule, isnt loli, but needs to go in the old ladies section. Do we need to do an ID check on all our loli's now too?

(Lets not make more work for our already overstressed gallery mods please )

In the future we will be redoing all of the guidelines, so this thread will be a welcome thing. So I won't even go into any details on that or this till then, hehehe. But thanks for the input. Some of it is helpful, some of it, well...

i judge by body style,you can also look at the face in most of them to tell the age. i admit i have let some stay in loli because the girl looked 12 or 13 but has developed breast,lets face it there are some girls at that age with developed breast. we all know girls mature faster than boys and it seems that way not only irl but hentai also.

Yeah, that's exactly the kind of stuff I was talking about, I just went and said the basics knowing u guys would go into more specific details.^_^ The age thing was just a guess, I didn' think it would turn into a whole THING,lol.I was just considering some of the shota I'VE seen.^_^

But,yeah, the story lines affect the appearances of people as well (and I think I edited the part about shota and loli just being between younger males, but anyway) Those type of things usually come up as a problem for me. Maybe you guys should do that "Thumb tack" thing so other people can find out about this post until the new rules are made?
