This has got to be one of my top 10 favorite movies of all time... I didn't like the second one too much, but I LOVED the first. I like it more than the second, because I liked the whole "getting random items" aspect...

I saw this in the cinema before it was hyped up. I felt really uncomfortable laughing at all of the kids dying.... but it really is so awesome!

I have the manga as well now, but I've still not brought myself to watch the second movie yet.

Although, there are rumours about an American version coming out next year....

HA! An American version would be messed up. People would protest about how they kill the kids and it would be heavily censored. The second was definitely different than the first one, that's for sure. I'd tell you about it, but I'd rather you saw it for yourself.

i belive the american version is the movie "The Condemned"

it has the same basic plot from what i hear
except that it's just 10 victims this time around
and the're all on death row

(i don't think i want to see it tho)

I plan to watch both... and pay for neither ^_^ Although, I am having second thoughts about the american version, because I've been watching the trailers and it's not peaking my interest too much...

I thought the movie was an instant classic and I was surrpised by the ending.
If I was there I would have gone for the gun too.

I hope the American version is not adding BR2 to the plot of BR as well.

Agree and I am disapointed they are making an American version.
Originals are cool, new is cool and remakes are always lame.
