| well i am a horror fan but have yet to see the films, even thought i upped one of them. ![]() on a side note i would love to be able to find a program that is easy to use to add the subtitles to the movies, i know that there are guides and whatnot but i do not have the patience to work on them, every time i try it ends up a failure. either way hope everyone enjoys the movies and please give us your opinion. it would help in looking out for stuff out there. ![]() E | |

| I haven't seen the ones mentioned but overall, I think foreign horror films are more well done than american style horror movies. They (foreign horror) have more substance or depth to it rather than just the normal gore/sex/violence. It's not the usual psycho killers chasing after a bunch of people for some odd reason. The storyline is so much better that even the american companies are doing remakes.. like The Ring (based on Ringu) and The Grudge (based on Japanese movie Ju-On). There's going to be "The Grudge 2" which I think I'm skipping altogether. Foreign horror films just do a better job of scaring the crap out of you. My favorite foreign horror movie would have to be A Tale of Two Sisters. Talk about being scared and a movie with a wicked twist. ![]() P.S. I'm not really a major horror fan since I get the images stuck in my head after seeing it and those turn into nightmares. x.x Last edited by j3llo : 07-18-2006 at 08:11 PM. | |

| Special Member ![]() ![]() | hmmm im not actually spooked by these films...i dont know, it's probably because i wanted to look for reason rather the ending. I mean, in almost every horror films, there's an explanation of why, how, and who right? so, every I go watch horror movies, i always tend up to find out the answers for these...call me weird but I never got nightmares from this films and never raised any nerves on me. I'll try to upload Filipino films if I can find one, I find them a bit scarier than those Japanese/Korean/Chinese because the shots were a bit darker, which makes the scary effect better. But of course i'll try to sub them first. |

| Restless Poltergeist ![]() | Subbing Filipino Movies? Never been easier for me, lawl. Imma Filipino ![]() For me "The Phone" was the best horror movie for me in Korea. Historically, Philippines is like a home to ethereal beings.. Try walking in here in the middle of the night in what we call "Balite Tree" and promise, you'll never forget what you'll hear and see. Almost 90% of the Elder stories about horror stuff is true and ive experienced for more than a couple of times. Example? Someone in white dress will pass by in the dark section in the road and when i try to look in my car mirror to check the back.. i saw something sitting in my back but when i try to see who it is i only found blood stains in my car.

Posts: 1,233 | I'm kinda tired of these types of movies :/ The Ghost or monster or whatever is always the same white skin, long hair that covers there face and usually it looks like someone is fastforwarding when they walk/run.Before I thought that kind of movie was scary, now I Just laugh at most of them.
