| D-Link DWL-G120 Network Adapter Hi friends, I recently purchased a network adapter for my office computer. And this computer is just 45 feet away from the center of our wireless network. It is a D-Link DWL-G120 Network Adapter, (Branded one). But now the problem is the internet connection is very slow with it, and at some points drops the internet connection totally. Now I was wondering is this an inherent flaw with this product? __________________ free laptop offer | |

| Cynical Bastard | three things you might want to try doing: Update the driver for the Adapter. Also check to see if your router's Firmware is up to date. Also, try switching the frequency the router is set too other then the default one, as other wireless networks or wireless phones might be interfering with your connection. I had to change mine because my mom's cordless phone upstairs was killing my bandwidth. Last edited by aceman67 : 10-19-2007 at 02:35 AM. |
