can someone teach me how to make a sig

They say the quickest way to learn something is to do it. So play around and see what different parts do. You can try followong tutorials on a site like Photoshop Tutorials - Search for Photoshop Tutorials on Pixel2Life
that's how I got proficient with Gimp.

Since you're really new to sig-making, I suggest you start off by cropping an image such as a wallpaper to the size of 500x150 and then just put your username in any of the available fonts. Once you get the hang of that, then you could probably try and find out how to do other things that will make your sig as nice as some of ours.

Or, just go to the tutorials link as prh99 posted.

Here's a helpful and useful link for those who use Gimp.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I couldn't get the bumpmap thing to work to save my life.

You can Element for about $100.00 (U.S), the full version of Photoshop is around $650.00 (U.S). Illustrator is around $600.00 (U.S).

If you are a student you do get MASSIVE discounts, but it does leave you with an educational version
