Anyone Take Network Security in College?

Did anyone take Network Security in College? What do they teach you and is it worth it?

Do any businesses really hire for this? I think it'd be kinda fun.

My fiance is a network architect. Anything he does in his job is more or less self taught. There are a lot of different products and configurations out there that are constantly updating, so its best to play around with stuff yourself.

He's currently one of a team working on the UK's NHS project, worth approx £12billion (about $24billion). So yeah, you can go places with it

Network security , im getting there .. slowly.. I just got my Ciscio CCNA certification.. and as for a job.. its some what security relates, my friend is a network analyst and administrator for Abercrombie & Fitch.

with a job in computing you cant really go wrong, its all going to get you money, but as for network security that will/should make you a ton because every business needs to be protected just think of the tkmax/tjmax fiasco is they had better security they wouldnt of got hacked
