Old but what the hey.

I use Media Player Classic for all video/dvd playing. I love it with the intensity of a hundred suns, it plays any format I throw at it, real media, quicktime, ogm, mkv, whatevah!

I swap between Sonique, f00bar and Winamp, depending on my mood and what my current desktop theme calls for. f00bar I tend to use a lot for testing new music out since pulling up a fresh playlist tab is easy.

I voted other I use VLC (Video Linux Client) Its for both Windows and Linux distros, It has almost every video codec and container type embeded in it no need to install divx or anything like that. Plus, its designed to be a network video and audio stream brodcast as well, its alawys nice to have. I extremely recommend it.

VLC as a last resort fall back. (I don't like switching. meh?)

being a high quality music user foobar2k is supposed to be sex, but winamp seems to work fine with the FLAC plugin. <3

WMP mainly, music & stuff. I'd switch again to Winamp, but ish too lazy.

Visual media, I stick to Media Player Classic.
