thats depend what kind of sites you are visiting....most sites allow people to right click and save as. i do that all the time.

lol, I use IE7, it's ok. It's kind of slow, probably cause it's in beta. The tab thing, well the tab options are kind of limited, well same with firefox, but firefox has extensions to make it better.

Wouldn't that be the opposite? IE saves everything to its temperory folder unless you right click -> save as, while Firefox let you choose where to save it just with a simple left click.

What ment was. The file says right click and save as. The file is a .wmv. Firefox would save it as a html file or txt file I forgot. I didn't like the download manager becuase you'd have to clean it up etc, it would be left open. If I closed Firefox, the download manager would go away.

but, firefox is like, mad speed tho lol. to the max

go to tools--> option and fix that

Yeah, that's weird, it shouldn't do that. By default, it should ask where you want to save it, and then save it, not opening it with anything.

You can't disable it. It's the "Download Manager." You know the little window that pops up and keeps a history of what you downlaoded, it's like the Windows Temporary files thing, except its in a window for you. ...
