| Experienced | I would have to admit I have used emulators in the past and yes they are great, but I started to play the real thing, just feels better i guess.. oh well. But if I would have to recommend one it wouldn't be one just for console games like PS or Sega, I would have to say MAME.

| hehe... Just noticed this thread while I'm playing NHL 98 on snes (with my xbox then). So, yes, I use Emu's. It's the only way for me to play on my box since I don't own any games for it, and they're so friggin' expensive. I've been using emu's ever since I frist used the internet around 98-99... Then it was only Nes games, since they are small and you're able to d/l them with a 56kbps modem. ![]() And to be honest, nothing beats the old classics... No game have ever keeped me so entertained as Tetris, Pac-Man, SMB1-3, Metroid... You name it... | |

| I have some PSX & Nintendo 64 emulators & roms now. =D I will say that the PSX can be difficult to use & to get to work. (depending on the emulator you use...some work easier than others BUT one of the best is epsxe) The best plug-ins for the epsxe is gpupete or something like that. Cause it is different for most computers & you need a fairly good computer to run at a decent speed, AND not all the PSX games are available but I got a fair selection going...but they are all 600 MB apiece for each PSX cd =\ Nintendo 64 is awesome too IF you can find the good games. There is a couple good emulators for it (I have Project 64 & Mupen 64) AND the roms are a lot smaller than the PSX roms. | |

| Restless Poltergeist | GPUPete is really an optional plug-in. You can't use that plug-in if your Vcard don't support the features the plugins has to offer. Better download all the plugins you found and try one by one till you find that suits you best.
