Videos to *.AMV format

Do you guys know where I Can find a software which converts video files to .amv?

Why do you want your video in *.amv format???
Its a proprietary file format used only by the X-Micro Video MP3 400 player with a native resolution of 96x52....

Well, my brudda needs it in his player.. It's so 'great' that it only plays .amv video files! It S***s!

So, I hope u'd help me out..

I just need to convert avi/mpg/wmv to amv... Know any website which I can download it from?

AMV is certainly propreitary, it was a royal pain to find anything of use about it. I managed to find the following tool kit. Fair warning it's ~11.7MB. I scanned it with McAfee and it didn't find any viruses. Anyway there is an AMV transform tool in there that should be of some use.

Just make sure you restore the folder structure when you extract it.

With the exception of CD Ripping software all I saw was hardware. Could you give the name of software you attempted to use. Thanks
