| lolikon | Ichigo's Unoffical Vocaloid2 Support/Fun thread For now, this is just a place to support the installation, and general running of the app from the torrent. I won't support anything nonstandard though. If you got it from another source, or haven't followed the steps in the installation.txt file from the torrent, please don't ask for help from me as I won't. If you want to download the package and install Miku/Rin/Len and then play with it in English! I will be adding the link to the torrent here shortly!~ Forgot to note it in the directions, you do NOT have to reboot after the installs are done until the very end (when you install VSTI)! Feel free to trade vsq files (zip or rar them please) as well as include a description (title) in your post before uploading them to this thread !~ thanks ~ r0r!!!~ ichigo ~ Torrent can be found at http://www.datorrents.com/torrents-details.asp?id=32880 Also for the HF users wondering, this is NOT an english patch, this is a complete install of Miku, then Rin/Len, then the English version of Vocaloid2 (Prima) over it, allowing ALL of the singers, under the english interface ![]() Last edited by ichigo : 02-19-2008 at 03:24 AM. |

| Beginner | This is not a question, but additional information: Prima is not the only English vocaloid2. There is also "sweet anne"...do a google search on "vocaloid2 sweet anne" and you can find info on her. Sweet Anne's package is also a little smaller than Prima's (albeit not by much; damn complex english language, lol), and Sweet Anne's voice probably better suited for use in combination with Miku, Lin and Ren. As for Sweet Anne torrents...I found one, but unseeded, and I don't think it had a crack. Edit: Just wanted to add, though, that reading around on various forums such as VOCALOID-USER.NET, a lot of people don't like Sweet Anne's voice, and think Prima is better done (a different company, Zero-G did the Prima voice; Sweet Anne was done by FX). Hopefully Zero-G will do another Vocaloid2 thats more 'trendy' ![]() Last edited by KuroiInu : 03-07-2008 at 03:43 PM. |

| Beginner | Prima install issue! My friend discovered today, and this is the case with myself as well, the following error message when trying to use the Vocaloid 2 from that English Vocaloid torrent (with Miku, Rin/Len and Prima): The following VOCALOID2 components expired! VOCALOID2 Voice DB (Prima) The program won't start anymore. The install went fine and it was useable, and we installed it roughly 3-4 weeks ago. I use Vista with SP1 beta and he uses XP with SP2. I figure it'll start if I uninstall Prima, maybe, but I haven't tried. I can probably uninstall and reinstall Prima, too, but I haven't tried that yet either. I was just wondering if anyone else has come across this problem, and what they did about it if anything? |

| lolikon | You can try a few things ... Start from scratch and reinstall all 3 if you have them (which might be a good idea in case something is corrupted.) I have the same setup from the torrents running on 3 PC's since long before I torrented it and not a problem, so I am not sure quite what it may be. You can also (if you want) only do miku and then rin/len too (make sure to activate those btw), and then backup the dll's in the program directory, and delete all of the japanese dll files, at which point the program will revert to the english language entirely. I happen to like Prima's voice for background vocals (a whole lot), as do alot of people, hence the reason her's was included. But from what I can see, there is no problems with the activation/keys. Have you recently changed any hardware in your pc ? Hard drive ? network card ? Try generating a new key ? |

| Beginner | Hey all, I was wondering if there was a tutorial anywhere about how to get started on using Vocaloid2...? I can't seem to be able to find ANYTHING about the basics. Well, anything in english that is. haha. I'd mainly like to know how to recreate the music in this video : YouTube - Megaman 3 with vocal audio I really want to do something like that with a midi or something and get Miku to sing all the right lyrics like they do in that video. When i import a midi file, Miku only sings "ah" on every note. Can't figure out how to make her sing them like in that video without having to change every single note manually... Thanks in advance |

| Beginner | Hello Everyone! I installed Vocaloid 2 Miku/Rin/Len/Prima on my PC according to the Installation.txt. All the install procedures went fine, and no-problem. I've started Vocaloid 2 Editor and there was no errors. Unfortunately when I started my VST host it didn't detect the 3 VST Plugins from Vocaloid 2. I checked the location of the plugins, but it was fine. I saw VOCALOID2 folder in the VST plugin directory and I thought, that maybe if I move these plugins from VOCALOID2 folder directly to my VST Plugins directory then my host will detect them, but still notthing happened. When I started my host, it didn't found anything. The host I'm using is Nuendo 3.2 from Steinberg (Steinberg Nuendo v.3.2.1128 released by Team H2O). Nuendo automatically scans the VST folder for new VST Plugins on start-up, but it didn't detect these 3 Vocaloid Plugins. It scans "C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VstPlugins" path, but the plugins are already there. I don't know what to do with this or what exactly it is, but I wonder it might be a crack-related malfunction. Without these plugins I'm unable to use VOCALOID2 in Nuendo to make music. Please help me!!! Martini Last edited by Martini : 04-25-2008 at 10:07 AM. |

The problem is that I have more than 1 network card (2 LAN cards and 1 WAN.) First after install, it was perfect worked but for a week later I don't know why it got the problem. To fix it is, if you still have Vocaloid key gen (vocaloid2_kg.exe) then open it and generate an active key file again BUT LOOK! select another network card different from the first time activated. Then re-active by the same way you did (offline activated). Now everything go work again, try. | |
