Furry Moderators ...

We are looking to replace one or two absent furry moderators in the gallery. Here's a list of things you'll need to know before anything else, you WILL need to devote at least 30-60 minutes a day to doing this, if you cannot, then do not bother applying, as you will just be turned down. Also, please do not do it, simple just because you want to mod furries. You will be responsible for browsing EVERY picture uploaded to the furry category, looking for copyright information in it, if present, deleting it, warning the user via PM, and posting the users name, so the rest of the staff is aware there is a problem. Currently, there is one mod, working only a few hours a week on the furries, and one mod was being hired in, and that fell through.

We are a team, and as such, you MUST be open to working with others, grumpy people, happy people, overbearing people, as well as LOLIKONS, HENTAI LOVERS, other furries (maybe), neko lovers, if you cannot refrain from making fun of these groups, then again, do not apply. While the staff may harass furries in the staff channel, we leave it at that or in private, never in public. So if you cannot keep it to yourself, just keep reading the forums and skip this. You must ALSO BE A CONTRIBUTING MEMBER OF DATORRENTS FOR AT LEAST SIX MONTHS!

What else is expected of you as a furry mod?

Well, Regular interaction (as close to daily as possible) with ichigo on people violating rules in the furry section, people wanting new things, or people complaining about things in general. Basically collect the furry thoughts together, and present them to me, so that I don't have to interact with all of the furries on the site all of the time.

Anything else?

Well, there is not alot of a community for furries here, and that is their own choice. Lolikons and other groups have made themselves at home here on dat, and furries are welcome to too, provided they simply follow the rules, and behave appropriately. We would like someone (or a few of them), to step forward, and to help gather the furries into the group they need to be. Rather than just a bunch of folks that are here to browse the gallery.

Respect, love (maybe, but not much), a spot in our staff channel, chances to make decisions that will impact the future direction of datorrents.com.

You will also have the chance to be promoted to other spots within the ranks, and earn more points, more respect, and the ability to help even more people, should you want it.

I am sure that I've left alot of things out, but as I think of them, I will edit this post and make changes as needed.

Reason~i basically a bum at Dat since i stoped spamming the threads..
I what to somethin for this community except being a burden

Site memberships~no I dont have a membership to any of those kind sites

Experience~im familiar with the rules (cause i broke some)

General experience~I worked at a medical supplies shipment company for a while & some carpenter experience

Reason~i been with Dat for almost a year & i know most of the rules if the gallery

~if it between me & another person with the same experience....ill say yo chose me cause im more reliable

Reason for Applying: I'm applying to be a furry moderator not only to be a help to the Datorrents community, but to give the mods and admins some rest and relaxtion from the furry section. Along with how many of the furry users ignore, or do not take the rules seriously in the least. The section has my personal interests, along with how I'd hate for datorrents to keep landing in hot water of one section of people that can not obey the rules.

Site Memberships: I do not belong to any site or community that is part of the do not post list.

Experience: Administrator to several runescape private servers. Along with former Clan leader for Dark Sanctum. (disbanded)

Experience in general: For non online experience, I'm one of the most trusted students at South Lakes High School. English script and storyline writer, along with being Programming assistant. For non school related experience I worked as a Teen counselor temporarily.

Why do you feel that you would make an excellent mod for the gallery here: I'm very interested in helping the community, I have experience in research for finding information on the web given I put in some effort, though, I can use research at a library or through companies should the online community not suffice.

If it came down, and there were 2 people to choose from, both with similar qualifications, why should I choose you over the other person ? Tell me!: I'm very dedicated to my work, and have been known to stick it through to the end. Whether I win or lose, I see my choices and actions through to the end and accept my mistakes and errors.

I can use IRC, I'll use the web client a lot more than I use my mIRC though. As I'm fixing some errors my computers has with mIRC at the moment.
