Torrent Supervisor

Please post your application here and include your name, how often you can check the site, other activities involved in, and why you want to be hired.

This is the group that will be working on the tracker side of datorrents. This group will NOT be doing any banning. The duties include:

*finding user accounts that are inactive (3+months) and deleting them

*going through torrents and making sure they are properly labeled

*going through torrents and making sure they are material that is supposed to be on datorrents

*random download of torrents to ensure labels and material are correct.

Some assistants are needed for TS primarily with the last 2 things on shauna's list

You would be expected to DL and check some dubious torrents (you do not have to fully reupload them and in this case your ratio is "forgiven")

your main task will be checking new torrents DAILY for content,description and position. Or checking torrents uploaded in the last 6 months for content and description!

IRC access is a neccessity, both to report your findings and to see if there are any special instructions.

You would report direct to me (if I am not available to Shauna, Ichigo or Evilgiggle)

The only problem is the IRC, I havn't used it in a long time, is it alright to apply in maybe like a week? I don't know how many people your looking for or how good they need to be, I mean I know how to join channles and things but.... anything past that.
PM me with the amount of experiance needed or anything else I should know before trying to apply or otherwise, IO do visit the forums and the main site everyday (hours are random as of now, but "if" I got hired I can make them more steady) either way I look forward to hearing from you.

I've been a system administrator for years, and was a channel OP for IRC for several years as well (although, that was over 10 years ago). I still visit IRC a lot.

I haven't been very active since I joined this forum, as I was finishing up my degree. Now that I've graduated (BS CompSci), I'll have much more time to devote.

If you can't find anyone else that suits your requirements better, I'd love to see if I can do the job.
