Furry Mods NEEDED!!! (Help Wanted)

We are looking to replace one or two absent furry moderators in the gallery. Here's a list of things you'll need to know before anything else, you WILL need to devote at least 30-60 minutes a day to doing this, if you cannot, then do not bother applying, as you will just be turned down. Also, please do not do it, simple just because you want to mod furries. You will be responsible for browsing EVERY picture uploaded to the furry category, looking for copyright information in it, if present, deleting it, warning the user via PM, and posting the users name, so the rest of the staff is aware there is a problem. Currently, there is one mod, working only a few hours a week on the furries, and one mod was being hired in, and that fell through.

We are a team, and as such, you MUST be open to working with others, grumpy people, happy people, overbearing people, as well as LOLIKONS, HENTAI LOVERS, other furries (maybe), neko lovers, if you cannot refrain from making fun of these groups, then again, do not apply. While the staff may harass furries in the staff channel, we leave it at that or in private, never in public on the Forums. So if you cannot keep it to yourself, just keep reading the forums and skip this. You must ALSO BE A CONTRIBUTING MEMBER OF DATORRENTS FOR AT LEAST SIX MONTHS!

What else is expected of you as a furry mod?

Well, Regular interaction (as close to daily as possible) with ichigo on people violating rules in the furry section, people wanting new things, or people complaining about things in general. Basically collect the furry thoughts together, and present them to me, so that I don't have to interact with all of the furries on the site all of the time.

What you will be doing :

Alot of browsing the gallery (Furries.) No fooling here. You will be expected to actually interact with the people that regularly post, pm them if something gets posted that shouldnt. Post in the mod section of the forums ANY rule violations, warnings issued, and if the time comes to end up banning someone, we expect that the ban is justified. So you will have to explain the ban as well. There's usually alot to do, but with a little practice and once you get to know your way around, it becomes quite simple to manage!

Anything else?

Well, there is not alot of a community for furries here, and that is their own choice. Lolikons and other groups have made themselves at home here on dat, and furries are welcome to too, provided they simply follow the rules, and behave appropriately. We would like someone (or a few of them), to step forward, and to help gather the furries into the group they need to be. Rather than just a bunch of folks that are here to browse the gallery.

What you get :

Respect, love (maybe, but not much), a spot in our staff channel, chances to make decisions that will impact the future direction of datorrents.com.

You will also have the chance to be promoted to other spots within the ranks, and earn more points, more respect, and the ability to help even more people, should you want it.

I am sure that I've left alot of things out, but as I think of them, I will edit this post and make changes as needed.

Reason for applying:
I am on DaT a lot more now than I was a few months ago and I know the troubles that the furries have given the staff. I feel I'll be on DaT more often again.

Site memberships:
I don't have any memberships anywhere. Only really spend my time on a few sites.

Experience:
The experience I have is when I was a forum mod and a short-term yuri mod here on DaT.

Experience in general:
I deal with people and customers everyday I work and those bunches of people are very diverse.

What makes me an excellent mod?
Well, I on DaT pretty much every day, I've been a mod before, I have little, if any, prejudice against the other gallery categories, and I'm fun(?), lol.

2 People, choose me:
Lets see, I have been here for over two years. I had the forum position. I had the Yuri position. I'm not much of a hassle (am i?), lol. I try not to make problems. I'm here and on IRC everyday/night and I can idle for a while.

Anything else:
Hmm.. different part of the site but the only thing I really still don't know is the tracker. I've only used it once or twice and that was just mainly searching for a specific item.

Reason for applying: I have time to spare and would like to clean up the furry archives of duplicates along with doing general moderator work.

Site memberships: I don't spend money on porn, but I'm aware of every furry paysite, what artists draw for them, and I can tell what art is pay-material and what isn't.

Experience: I've spent the past four years moderating the busiest boards on the 2kinds.com forums. Recently retired from it.

General experience: I'm a co-owner of a small business so I often deal with people. I also spent a year managing a raiding guild on World of Warcraft. I'm used to dealing with all kinds of people.

Why do you feel that you would make an excellent mod for the gallery here?
I'm very knowledgeable when it comes to furry-related things. I spend tons of time at my computer so keeping things in check wouldn't be a problem.

If it came down, and there were 2 people to choose from, both with similar qualifications, why should I choose you over the other person ? Tell me!
I can pretty much guarantee the other person wouldn't be as dedicated as me. Organization is a big thing for me as you can tell if you take a look at my gallery. I know I haven't been a registered member for over six months, but I believe this place needs me.

I am on every day. I am a big Furry Lover and I have done some things like this on other sites like this.

Site Memberships
I dont care for pornagraphy. Just Anime, wether Graphic or not, so im not a part of any paysite and Im aware of about 13 Furry art sites, paying or non, that are popular and rising.

Experience
I work with others on a daily basis and I have been a mod on 3 different Forum sites like this and am currently attempting to mod on a Furry Forum site.

General Experience
My experience with people is very high. I feel that with my own job as a Graphic Artist, I can work with others on a level that can suit them. This being that I have to work with about 164 people every two days.

Why do you feel that you would make an excellent mod for the gallery here?
I would make an excellent mod because I am on my computer every day. I have much experience as a mod on other sites. I can, as a knowlagable person in the Furry, spot the ok's and the not ok's and keep things in check as a mod.

If it came down, and there were 2 people to choose from, both with similar qualifications, why should I choose you over the other person ? Tell me!
If it ever came to that, which I hope it doesnt, I hope that the person that is I choose is going keep up his/her responsibilities.
I would chose on an unbiased reason. For instanse, If you choose the moderater at the top over me or the other people wanting this job. It is only because they have more qualifications, More knowlage and experience. If you choose one over another. dont just look at what is on the page. Look at how they word things. How they seem to speak while typing.
