Trigun's WAS very good.

Inuyasha had a lot of good ones. Record of Lodoss War, Fruits Basket, Haibane Renmei, Naruto's Fighting Dreamers, Kannazuki no Miko and 2x2 = Shinobuden were all good too.

if i had to go with only 1, it would be "daybreak's bell" by L'arc en ciel (first gundam 00 opening), but "ash like snow" by the brilliant green (second gundam 00 opening), "blue bird" by ikimono gakari (third naruto shipuuden opening) and the opening for devil may cry are great as well. the witchblade opening (XTC by psychic lover) was pretty good too
