Looking for some good anime

Hey,

I'm fairly new to anime and I'm looking for suggestions on some good shows to get.

I currently have the Hellsing Ultimate OVAs parts 1-3 and Karas: The Prophecy, and they are both pretty cool, and Final Fantasy Advent Children (if you count that). I would prefer OAV or movie recomendations, I don't think I have it in me to go through a whole series, I only have so much bandwidth lol.

Well, then Perhaps the Ah! My Goddess movie...

You should really watch series though, that is where the true power in anime lies. I'd go for Air, Chrono Crusade, Hyper Police, Elfen Lied, Tsubasa Chronicle, Card Captor Sakura...

I could swear he said no series

I would personally recommend Brave story (new movie), XXXholic (movie) or if you like fight series, try Tenjou Tenge (there is an OVA that sums up the series). Very pretty, and lots of large breated women (if you're into that kind of thing) ^^

Haha, limited by Australian quotas, eh?

Shin Angyou Onishi is a decent OVA/movie, can't think of much else at the moment.

I know you said no series, but I think you should definately check out Bleach and Death Note if you get a chance. You can also find them on Stage6 if you wanted to watch them online. It's worth the bandwidth.

I highly recomend Ergo Proxy, until now it's my favorite anime. There are plenty of good anime series. Full Metal Alchemist is great to.
