| Experienced ![]() ![]() | GLASS FLEET- I remember going to anime news network and seeing the advertisement for this anime saying that this is made by the creators of MACROSS. MACROSS/ROBOTECH is my all-time favorite animes, it's the movies/series that made me and my firends huge anime fans to this day, hell I even got the complete books by Jack McKinney. This one ended up being one hell of a dissapointment. I could not believe GONZO made this, till I saw the credits, must have been their interns, because the animations and the character designs are poorly done. And the story, character development, are clearly lacking in any coherence. Definitely one of those animes, I ended up watching to it's completion, despite the fact I clearly dislike it, so that when someone asked me about it I could say "Yeah, I've seen all of it, but it stinks to high heaven". BIG WINDUP (OOKIKU FURIKABUTTE)- If MIYAZAKI or DISNEY ever made a anime sports series, this would be it. It stars a young pitcher named Ren Mihashi, who due to the torments/resentments he suffered during middle school at the hands of his own teammates, has a very fragile psyche, rendering him over-emotional and socially inept. Thoroughly convince that he is a bad pitcher, Mihashi, decided to leave his old school and quit baseball altogether when he enters high school. Unfortunately, when he entered his new school Nishiura, they also happened to be looking for an ace pitcher for their newly form baseball club. A good thing about this anime is that it is realistic, no special powers here, unlike other sports anime (PRINCE OF TENNIS, EYESHIELD 21, etc.). A very good anime with a heart-warming story and characters you will like (even a cry-baby like MIHASHI). XAM'D: LOST MEMORIES- If EUREKA 7 and NAUSICAA: VALLEY OF THE WIND ever had a baby this would be it. |

| Spammer ![]() | Twelve Kingdoms was very good. I enjoyed it. The main problem is that they left out material from the light novels. So some arcs are cut short or missing information, or are just unresolved. I am still watching Needless, Guin Saga, and Valkyria Chronicles, but I dropped Canaan. I can see why people like it but it just isn't for me. |

| Beginner ![]() | Air Gear... I can't stop watching its intoxicating mix of terrible and hilarious. The animation is terrible and the overall plot is crap, but somehow the writing wins. I did just finish up Macross Frontier, though, and hope to re-visit Macross 7 for old times' sake.

| Rewatching the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya ( I love Yuki Nagato), and The irresponsible Captain Taylor. Watching Honey and Clover, Second Season Ouran High School Host Club ( I tend to go out with girls like Haruhi Fugioka), and finally watching Twelve Kingdoms. I'll most likely be watching 'Evangelion 1.0: You are (not) Alone' when the time comes. |
