i was reading in this ANimeMag that Blood+ is coming out with a new movie sometime in 2008 early 2009

I cringe a little on the inside everytime I hear "live action" when it's based on a cartoon or a video game or a comic book.
Don't get me wrong, Spiderman was a pretty good flick, and X-men was okay, but that's about it.
Remember the Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat movies? Oh...my...god. Even Spiderman and X-men strayed so far from the original storyline that I nearly vomited during X-3.
The Ninja Turtles movies really blew too, I thought, and don't even get me started on the Hulk and/or Fantastic Four.

I kinda liked the Mortal Kombat movies >.> Though the tv series was much better (if you can get hold of it).

Do NOT confuse Japanese Live Action Movies with American ones.
