| I did'nt see such a topic, sorry when one exists. Well...I'm curious what people like these days. So.. I start then. My fave Anime is now Fate Stay Night. It's new but it's really cool. The story is excellent and the characters are very cool. And my other fave is hack//SIGN. The story is awesome and you can feel what the characters feel. You can really empath "the World". It's a very good anime. And what's your fave anime and why? Last edited by Fatesoul : 12-27-2006 at 09:57 AM. | |

| Protector of Angels! | (There was a topic very similar to this one elsewhere, but don't feel stupid; I remember doing the same thing once when I was a newbie, myself, and I know a lot of other people have in the past.) ... I liked hack//SIGN, at least what little I've seen of it, and I definitely thought the PS2 dot.hack games were good. I think the best three anime I've seen though were Cardcaptor Sakura, Rayearth (the OVA), and Ninja Cadets. (And, from what I've heard some people say around here about it, I think I need to check out Air pretty soon.)

| Ultimate Moé | (^_^) Aside from some of the popular animes such as Inuyasha, Naruto, and Bleach, I also like: Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040 - 26 episodes worth the watch. I love the main heroines of the anime. Each of their personalities are interesting and they look good too (a punk rock chick, a teenager working for the police, an athletic woman working in an office and a woman with random mood swings). Also, I love the mature element of the anime. I welcome all the swearing and frontal nudity that the anime has. eX-Driver - Since I don't feel like going out and watching the many episodes of Initial D, this anime pretty much is close enough for me. It's basically a mix of Initial D and BGC because of the driving combined with the heroic antics of defeating rogue AI cars. Again, I also love some of the mature element of it (Souichi's pervertedness seems to be the running joke of the series). Witchblade - I guess watching the TV series and getting a really basic idea of the plot got me interested in this anime. I've watched the first 10 episodes of it and can't wait until more episodes are downloaded. Also, I'm just a sucker for animes with very good-looking women with well-sized boobies (^_^). |

Posts: 30 | Getter Robo Well, I'm a mecha fanboy who especially likes the robots that ruled the 1970's. But Mazinger Z didn't appeal me as much as I thought. Getter Robo did, however. A more interesting robot and interesting characters and some small drama involvements as well. If I only I had all episodes of the original TV show... Hokuto no Ken/Fist Of The North Star A quite original shounen anime with thrilling martial arts action and exploding heads. It can get a bit boring sometimes, but it's really cool to see people blow up or being sliced and diced. Devilman I loved the original TV show because it was very entertaining and fun. And it always had some good moments that would make me laugh, Akira Fudou is just that cool. The OVAs that were based on the original manga are even better, with a really neat story and icky monsters. The Amon OVA was a little too extreme and depressing, though. Violence Jack Some kind of unofficial sequel to Devilman. Actually, this is just like Hokuto no Ken, but without the martial arts... and much nastier stuff. I have yet to see the uncut versions of the OVAs, wich are impossible to find since they contain some really sick scenes of extreme violence or sexual assault. But I like this anime, it's fun. |

| Yu Yu Hakusho-cool animation for it's time. English cast works well. Action-packed. Great storyline. Cool characters with cool backgrounds/abilities. Great anime Naruto-cool animation. English cast works well. A lot of talking, but good talks and kick-*** action when it's the main focus. Humorous beyond pervertedness and stupid dumb jokes. Great characters with cool backgrounds/abilities. Good qualities similar to other great anime, but not a rip-off. Awesome storyline, with awesome attention to detail and underlying information. Awesome music. Full Metal Alchemist-same description as above. Fate Stay Night-recent anime compared to Bleach and Naruto. Cool characters with cool abilities. Nice music. P.S. Bleach has really cool animation at times and cool music. Renji kicks ***. Rukia's drawings...lol. | |

| RevanFlame's pet | Depending on what mood takes me, I have quite a few favourites: Full Metal Alchemist - I have watched this through, twice. And it never fails to move me. Its not just the usual action movie, though there aren't actually many fight scenes in it. The story is more about the relationship between 2 brothers, and their fight to regain normality in their lives. Jungle Wa Itsumo, Hale Nochi Guu - This series is hilarious. I'm surprised it doesn't have a bigger following. I don't think I have ever laughed so much at something that seems so childish. If you like slightly mental anime series, such as Excel saga, Oruchuban Ebichu, you'll love this! XXXholic - As much as it sounds like a dodgy porn movie, this is a magical/relationship based anime. I was hooked and couldn't wait for each new episode. I think it was the relationship between the main characters that made me love this so much. Azumanga Daioh - So good, I demanded the manga for Christmas! Not the usual kind of highschool drama.... Other anime worthy of a mention are Ah! My Goddess, Narutaru and Cowboy Bebop. I'm sure there's more, but I can't think of them right now >.< H.

| Protector of Angels! | .... Yup, I was right. Air TV just replaced Ninja Cadets in the top three best anime I described in the above post. Just now finished watching it, and it is pretty darn good. ... Imagine that.

| Badass Overlord | hmmmm..... there are many Samurai X - I like it and the action scenes are awesome. the story is also great. I like the characters also. there are also funny scenes here so I like it Full Metal Panic - not really but I like the characters only. I only liked the story on the first season, the story of the other season like FMA fumoffu! was just weird and I didn't understand much either. even though it has a few action scenes, I still think that this is cool DragonBall Z and GT - great fight scenes and I like the story also. and this was also my first anime to watch. cool characters and there are many movies so it's very great. Chrono Crusade - I like the story and characters. that's all
