So what genres of anime do you like?

Are you a person that can only watch comedy and nothing else? Or do you like your thinking mind-boggling animes? Or is anything watchable as long as its good?

Poll's up, just for the heck of it. You can select multiple genres, and yes, we are ignoring hentai as a genre here.

Me, I like harem/ecchi/comedy. I'd watch most other things, but those are the genres I'd be most interested in.

I too like almost any kind of anime. It mostly depends on my mood. Sometimes I want a really violent gory anime (Elfen Lied type), though sometimes I want something a little more comedy (Oruchuban Ebichu)

Well, I definately have a lot of love for mechas. I've grown up with robots and my first anime (or at least the first REAL one) was a mecha anime, so there's no question about it. I have to admit I'm not really into the mechas I usually see nowdays, but whatever.

I'm also a lot into shounen anime (pretty much action, in other words), or other things that are simple but action packed. I also have a thing for very violent stuff, too. I'm a big fan of anime like Fist Of The North Star, Devilman or Violence Jack.

It's hard for me to define what I like by genre, but nearly anything with comedy in it is fine. I also have a slight preference for romance and drama.

i don't like action in mangas because it always looks better in the anime and the fights are always shorter
anime : Yuri(don't judge me

) action, romance, comedy, philosophical (think BIg O)
Manga : shojo all the way baby

and anything that has a really good plot
