Hmm, been thinking about this one for a while....

I have cried at quite a few anime series >.<

Kanon had me sobbing at the end, but it is designed to be a sad series. One that was extremely sad, and I wasn't really expecting was Haibane Renmei. The ending was so unbelievably touching....

Though the series that made me the most emo would probably have been Air..... Heartbreaking ending, and totally addictive. Great one when you want a good sniffle.

H.

Oh yeah. The Da Capo series has about three games to its name. And, honestly, a fair number of animes, especially those of the romance genre, were originally an EroGe (Ero Gemu [Hentai Game]).

But... hmmm... for me I have had to do some thinking. Not one to really cry a lot. Misty Eyed, yes, out right cry, not really.

My vote goes to AIR TV. That one had me crying for awhile. Then there is Chrno Crusade. I had feeling it would end with Rosette and Chrno's death, but two things about the end that made me cry were: Satella's death (caught a bit off gaurd by it) and they way they presented/possed Rosette and Chrno on the porch.

I remember tearing up towards the end of De:Vadasy. I don't quite remember why but there was a moment in there that I still teared up a little bit (but not enough to run down). Also, I think I sort of teared up when I watched Divergence Eve: Misaki Chronicles at the part where Misaki "dies".

I'd have to say the one anime that ended up making me a little emo is from fullmetal alchemist when Mina (or Nina not quite sure) was killed by scar when she was a chimera. very sad moment

Argh! Mai-HiME shredded me to bits then patted and kissed my booboos all better. I KNEW there'd be some deus ex machina to make it all right at the end but that didn't mean I wouldn't be traumatised during the journey. Damn that show. Yet, I love it. To the point where I bought the silly, non-yuritastic-enough manga. I must be a maso.

I just got started on Twin Spica and the emo at the beginning caught me by surprise. I should smack my friend for not warning me.
