| inuyashi something for me? Hi, I'm new here, but not new to anime and mange. i'm a big fan of Rumiko Takahashi's work. She very creative in thinking of bizare situations and stories. So far I've seen/read Urusei Yatsura and ranma. I like the comedy/action/slight romance combi. and she always walks the thin line between romance and gettin corny. in series like mahoromatic and Love hina the characters are overly goodie-goodie's. i like those series, but the main character's tend to get on my nervers, always believing in the good of people yadda yadda. What i like about Ranma an UY is that most (if not all) characters, main characters included, are at least flawed, if not plain selfish jerks (Ranma, ataru, mendou but even the female chracter's like Lum and Akane are jealous with a mean temper). what about inu yasha? is that in the line of UY and ranma, would it be something for me? edit: oops typo in the thread name Last edited by Bakamita : 10-25-2006 at 10:05 AM. | |
