Finally after a long wait. I just got a copy fansubbed by Toriyama's World. Their's have the nicest encode quality.

My View: The animation is nice. The motion capture is similar to that of most anime's like Ghost in the Shell, Rurouni Kenshin OVA's, etc. The anime is intended for adults as it was from the manga since this anime/manga shows a very strong killing intent. Voices suits most of the characters so far, especially Light Yagami.

The anime follows the manga and I hope that it'll stay with the manga's storyline and characters.

I am wondering how will L's voice sound like.

I'm happy death note is now a anime it's very dark just like the manga so far.

I heard (from a translator) that Live-Evil's version has a more accurate translation compared to Toriyama's World.

yeah I am getting the Live-Evil version now since they started dubbing it. Toriyama's World was the first to group to release it so it's the first one that I got. I also have Desuno's version but didn't bother.

BTW, ep 2 by Live-Evil is out and L's voice is fine.
