Anime Recommendation for August

KiraRin's not around yet so i'll be good to start this thread.

my recommendation:
Title : Muteki Kanban Musume
Alternate Title(s) : Invincible Pretty Waitress ; Noodle Fighter Miki
Japanese Title : 無敵看板娘
Genre : Comedy
Synopsis: Onimaru Miki is a daughter of a Chinese restaurant, and she helps her mother to run the restaurant. She is supposed to be a Kamban Musume, or a poster girl, of the restaurant. However, she likes to fight and always makes troubles. Whether is she useful for the restaurant or not?

This is a daily comedy revolves around Miki, and other unique characters. For example, Ohta Akio is a son of a vegetable store, and he is an otaku of Ranger series. Kannazuki Megumi is another Kanban Musume of a bakery store. At first glance, she is quite and cute, but actually she is a dissembler. She thinks Miki of her rival, and she disturbs Miki’s job in various dirty way.

This is a good anime if you are not following anything atm and somewhat bored. Good laughs for this anime.

hmm that's not recommendation but rather announcement of upcoming anime's. when you want to recommend something you must've at least watched it and put in your feedback. plus it also helps if you can give some group providers(raw/subbed) of the anime you are recommending cause otherwise, how can the readers watch the anime you are recommending if they have no source for it?

Simoun is a anime series that broadcast not long ago, just do some searching in anidb, then you should find it

Night Head Genesis

This series seems like it will be quite good. Shinsen-subs just release the first episode eariler today.

If you haven't checked out this series pick up Oyasumi's encodes.

Also word on the street is that there will be Demonbane TV fansubs once again in the near future.

Thank you for starting this Vinny! I only just got back today, and I've hardly seen any anime recently....

But for this month, I will go back to last months recommendation (Mai Hime), and go against the fact I said I didn't like Mai Otome. It actually rocks, and the character development is as good as the first! I can't wait for the OVA to come out!!

The storyline does seem a little jumpy, and I didn't like the use of the characters at first, but by the end I was in love with both. There is romance, a little ecchiness and a lot of funny parts. The OST is as good, if not better than Mai Hime.

I would give this series 8/10.

One anime I would recomend is Golden Boy. It is only 6 episodes long but it is probly the funniest anime I have ever seen. It is about a man named Kintaro Oe where in every episode he finds a new part time job to work at. But for every job he finds there is always a beutiful girl that catches his eye. It can be a little adult oriented at times but then other episodes might not be at all. It probly has some of the best facial expressions I have ever seen in anime. I recomend this to anyone who wants a good laugh.
