I have never made the comparison that this type of anime leads to child molestation or the like. I'd rather just put it out there that people that watch this may not be all there...which most of the time is the reason they hide such a liking.

I have seen, some, and in my opinion, its in the same category as hentai to avoid, which includes Bondage Game, Maniax, etc.

Some people have made fine arguements both for and against allowing loli. I spend quite a bit of time in the forums and speaking with users on what could be better, or what definitely needs to be better, so I like to think I have gotten to know many of you pretty well. But, our stance is to allow loli content once again, some like that, some do not, and some curse us for ever allowing it at all. Sorry !~~~

We simply put that temporary ban in effect to protect the staff and users of datorrents should the US Gov't make some quick action against sites hosting that type of content.

The ban has been lifted, all is well with the world

If you wish to continue discussing this, please do it in a calm rational NON EMO driven state. I do not want to see users flaming lolikon or vice versa, as that isn't a conversation, its a yelling match

(8) “child pornography” means any visual depiction, including any photograph, film, video, picture, or computer or computer-generated image or picture, whether made or produced by electronic, mechanical, or other means, of sexually explicit conduct, where—
(A) the production of such visual depiction involves the use of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct;
(B) such visual depiction is a digital image, computer image, or computer-generated image that is, or is indistinguishable from, that of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct; or
(C) such visual depiction has been created, adapted, or modified to appear that an identifiable minor is engaging in sexually explicit conduct.


(9) “identifiable minor”—
(A) means a person—
(i)
(I) who was a minor at the time the visual depiction was created, adapted, or modified; or
(II) whose image as a minor was used in creating, adapting, or modifying the visual depiction; and

now i believe this pretty much concludes that loli ain't ilegal

Either way if lolikon were made illegal we would have to ban all those cops and robbers movies and similar media based on the same logic. This law has a job: to protect children. However if this is ever extends beyond that it not only fails to do its job but sets a new standard in corrupt laws but it does appear that we are in the clear for now.

The "law" banning loli is nothing but a hoax. PROTECT act only prohibit photos and images indistinguishable from photos. Lolicon is unquestionablely legal under current US law.
