More then likely, this law will be ammended when the Republicans leave office (I seriously doubt that after Bush's term is up, the party would be elected again.) and democrats return to power, since its blatant violation of Free Speech.

And before you go spouting "You're Canadian, your opinion isn't vaild, or solicited", I should inform you that I'm a Dual-citizen, with voting rights in my mothers home state of Michigan.

Well, it's not much of concern for me, but i can still put up my comment.

I'm not much into lolicon, but for the sake of the whole anime/hentai network(especially in the USA), this is gonna be a long time debate whether or not to consider loli(hentai or not) as an act against the law. Im just talking here for the community itself, not the lolicon as a hentai, and not because i like it or not.

I can't believe that you haven't heard.
4chan started spreading rumors (Lies) days before the law was signed.
Hongfire already knows about it, I'm surprised that everyone here hasn't figured it out yet.

I know that. (I fell for this whole thing... twice) but trust me, even if it was just a misunderstanding at first, 4chan would have been the first to know it wasn't true. yet they kept it up so stuff like this loliban would happen. (Very few of the people on /b/ actually have souls)

A better safe than sorry approach is perfered over risking getting prosecuted for childporn, the penalties for which have become quite draconian in recent years. If and when the admins are statisfied that loli is legal, loli content will be restored.
