honey & clover II

Curious how many of you watched the first season, and will continue to the second. If you watch the first episode of the new season, you can kinda get caught up, but I'd recommend the first season. Thoughts?

The first season of this series I am still struggling to get through, I got about halfway through and then gave up because for some reason I found it pretty boring so I moved on to watching other things. Now that season 2 is starting to air I will probably give honey and clover S1 another go in the coming week and hope I enjoy it more this time around. Its such a highly rated anime that I don't want to pass it by. XD

Personally I am looking forward to some closure. The ending of the first season left me want more. And now, more I shall have. (*_*) Although, I have to admit, I wish ShoujoMagic would spend some more time on this project. Biggest problem with them is they have too many projects. But, anyways, this series is just good. Now, if they would only release another album with all the insert songs on them...

All I've watched so far is the raw first episode of the new season. Even though I can understand very little of it, it looks interesting. If my download of the first season ever gets done, I might be able to say more.

What really got me into this anime was the Opening Theme. It was weird and wacky. I guess it's the same for others Honey & Clover just grows on you. I found it very easy to related to some of the characters. I to have had the urge to just find my purpose in society/life.

I am very glad there is a second season and look forward to the progress of the story line and hopefully tie up some loose ends from season one.

yeah, that was one of the biggest let downs for me... the 1st season's opening was slick, the 2nd is meh. I would highly advise trying to marathon the 1st season before hitting the 2nd

Honey & Clover is one of my favorite series. Yeah, it may take a while to get into it, but you get wrapped up in the character development and the relationships that grow between them. Another thing that caught my eye aside from the OP (which is very wacky compared to other anime) is the art style. It's very different from the norm, sort of like water-coloring that makes it almost a dreamy effect.

I marathoned the first season around Xmas and now following the second season. I hope we do get some resolution. I love Morita-san, he kills me with his hilarity. My favorite scene of his in second season so far is the hiccup scene with Hagu (in ep 2 I think). XD
