Anyone know what happened to the new Tenchi series?

The official website is now at least 1.5 years or 2 years out of date.
The first DVD of the new series was put out by Funimation,
and the second was supposed to be out by July of that year.
That was about 2 years ago.

Anyone here know whats going on with that?

I saw fansubs and got those, but still, it'd be nice to see them come out.

Yeah, their dubs are pretty bad. Some companies release quality dubs, they're not one of them.

This is true, dubbing often sucks.

The only reason I wanted it is that the video quality of what I could find is not so good.
Especially near the end, there were gaps, where it just skips or degrades into something unwatchable for a while.

I don't much care for them either, Pioneer was much better (cough).

But most times, you can watch the subbed version on the DVDs.

Anyhow, it's just for the DVD video quality..

There are a few very old series I'd love to get that will probably never see the light of day on DVD (or ever again)

Is this the Ryo-oh-ki 3 series? I have all 6 eps if so. It looks like a mixed bag though. I think the first few are solar fan subs and good quality, but I've never got around to watching the last few eps...
