*SPOILER ALERT*.Hack// and its games

Hey guys, I'm a huge fan of .hack// ... but I don't have the time to play the games to figure out it's storyline (which I'm really pissed off about, becuase I don't know what happens to Sora, and I watched liminality, and don't know waht happens to mai or whatever).

I was hoping there might be a big .hack//fan out there who might want to inpart with me this knowledge found if you beat all 4 disks of the game.

I've only beat 2.5 of the games.... I'm still trying to find time to actually get to the end of the series >.<

I would really recommend playing them though as the stories are quite detailed with a lot of characters. Its also fun to uncover the story as you go (even if it does get VERY repetitive).

i've finshed the first 3, but i'm having trouble getting hold of number 4.

It took me 3 months to find number 3 as well as it doesn't appear on shop till anymore.

i can tell you though, that things go from bad to worse over the first 3 games, with people becoming corrrupt and the master of light and the mistress of darkness joining forces. I won't say anymore though cause you realy should jsut play the game. They noly take 20 hours each to complete...

Etherkye, they only take 20 hours if you speed play the game to finish it :P

There are so many side quests to meet new people that you can team up with, and different places to visit with eastereggs and such.

I was lucky to buy the games as our local gamestation does tradeins on games, and I picked up all 4 for about £30 secondhand......

And i've spent 65 hours on all three and have done every side quest cept the goblins races cause they got stupid and i can't catch the buggers.

That's a series that I've been dieing to complete but I've only beaten the first game, and it's been so long that I would have to play it over in order to get back into the story line of the game.
The worst part is, I borrowed the first one, but I gave it back, and I don't have enough money to buy any of them atm

the thing that takes the longest is the bosses. Not cause there hard or anything, just cause there immortal until you get to datadrain them. One boss took me an hour by itself, and i didn't even die on it. In fact, no boss has ever killed me, they just cost me a fortune in antidotes.

Like I said, I'm not very good. Girls just suck at computer games :P I think it was more to do with the fact that I didn't take in enough antidotes and healing potions, and tried to stick it out.

I have to admit though, the gameplay is kinda sucky in the hack games, and does get very repetitive. I only really played it for the story.

i won't disagree with the repetative bit. but you should always have 99 potions, antidoes, revivals, and ressurects. once you get to thired server trade the healing otions for the next version up. Also, always bring a wave master with you and try to get him a hat with ola repth.
