Etherkye, I do that now! Didn't at first though and became very frustrated. My team usually consists of Black Rose and Mistral, as both are levelled up quite nicely. Or Piros sometimes. He's a great tank and can do a lot of damage.

Is it worth levelling up some of the other characters? Such as Mia or Gardenia?

piros sucks kill him somewhere...

i also used BlackRose and Mistral a lot. As this has spoiler tags i'll tell you though, keep spare wave master stuff cause you lose mistral at the beging of game 3 cause she get pregnant in rl. so keep stuff for anouther wave master. i recomend wiseman for that. and make sure tyou keep your mave master topped up with ressorects.

Aha! I think that was where I had got up to on the third game. I had literally just started it when I had to give up to start revising again.

Its gonnna be a pain though cause I spent ages getting her level up >.<

If I pass my next 2 written exams and the verbal, I'll play a lot more .hack and hopefully finish them, and post a little explanation of the game

when you get EXP, everyone on your friends list gets some as ell, they'll only be a level or two behind.

OOh! Only just noticed you're a fellow Brit :P

Do you think we'll ever get to see the next set of Hack games? I checked out gamefaqs and there are only dates for Japan and the US. I would be gutted if they never came out in PAL! May come down to me having to buy an imported PS2, or chipping mine to play it.

Yup. Its about to be released in Japan. I can't find the site that has the movie intro on it (looks very pretty btw), but I can't wait!

Apparently its set after the world is shut down in the first series of games. There is a bit of filler with the latest anime series (.hack//roots), which is setting the story for the second series of games. The anime I have only managed to watch the first episode of so far, but it seems quite good. If you've not started watching them yet, I would recommend Shinsen's copy (if you use irc, grab em from there cause they have some scary fast bots

)

The games are going to be based on a PK (player killer) who looks a lot like Kite, but kinda evil. The gameplay is supposed to have been enhanced somehow and made a lot less monotonous (yay!).

Just have a look round the net for .hack//GU and there is already a lot of information out there
