all right i'll start with one question...do you personally think archer is really shirou's future??

...imo, based on their powers, i say yes, but on their attitude and appearance...well, i can tell who is whom...i mean what happened to shirou's resolve? well i don't have the right to judge...it's just my opinion...at least it's kinda unique...the protagonist wasn't able to fulfill his goal...kinda weird right?

yeah i got what you're trying to say there...that's based on the current flow of the anime...but what i'm asking is if archer is really the shirou in the future...i don't know if this will be unvealed in the anime since the anime follows the Fate and Unlimited Blade Works Scenario of the game...archer kinda looks like always pissed off right? i mean if he doesn't want to happen in what happened to him in the past...why would he want kill Shirou(archer in the past)...because it's really kinda weird...and if archer is shirou in the past...why is archer cold blooded after he got to be a hero who can't save everyone else...i mean, there should be way right...he shouldn't just stop there...it's kinda fuzzy but wierd...

yup archer is shirou in the future...because he obtained the holy grail and wished to be a hero in spirit form so that he can save many people..."archer" is only his class, but emiya shirou is his real name...i actually read the synopsis of the game in 3 diff scenarios...

it really bothers me(up to now)why did shirou, after becoming archer, losses his will to be a hero then in the end shirou(present not future) made archer realize the thing they both wanted to fight for...kinda messed up...

How did Sakura participate into this war?? and how did she become Dark Sakura?

and how did Saber become Dark Saber?

Well, i don't know if the anime will show sakura participating in the war because that would be the third scenario, heaven's feel, i think they can make this in another season...but i'll explain to you anyways..."more spoilers"

first off, sakura and rin are siblings...yep, but the tosaka family only wanted rin to be the successor magician so the matou family adopted sakura to be their successor...with this situation, you will now know that there is a tension between rin and sakura, as you might have seen in the anime...but it's not rin that hates sakura, it's the other way around...Matou Zouken, grandfather of Shinji, is actually controlling Sakura with some magical organisms that made her Shadow...mixing it up with her hatred for rin, she doesn't realize herself anymore...as for the Black Saber, her master is not emiya shirou, her master is Shadow(the bad Sakura)...but in this scenario, Saber died and cannot be revived...well, that goes for details from the game...i don't know if the anime production will want to alter these...

so there ya go...just ask more questions if you want...i'll try to answer them based on the game's scenarios...but for the hypertheoritical questions like mine, i cannot answer those since they are not known in the game...

Gilgamesh is Gilgamesh...i mean that is his true name...his class is archer...and his master is kotomine kirei...but gilgamesh is actually from the previous war...now i know you wanna ask why is he still summoned...well the last war never actually ended...

Saber's real name is Arturia...she is the King Arthur of the story...yes, Arthur here is a lady who hid her true identity because there her people wanted a king that would lead them to victory...by taking excalibur, she is trapped in some kind of curse...that she will never age...as her people found out her identity(and probably got tired of having the same king over and over, idk), she was betrayed by most of her people and thus she regret pulling out excalibur...and seeks to get the Holy Grail so that she can wish that she never pulled out excalibur...
