| I know that point of yours...but it's kinda hard for me since I've been learning english(4 years) less than I've been learning japanese(6 years). I guess you might be right about one reading the subs faster than me(and I kinda knew it too =P)..but I just try to learn english more with subs and dictionaries that are always by my side ...True Otaku...dunno if I'm one...I just know the fact that I'd die without anime :P | |

| subbed is by far the best and only way to watch anime. yes i must concede that some subbed animes are not horribly torturous to watch. i.e. akira, bebop, and maybe dragonballz. but its so much more satisfying to watch any movie or show in its original language i think. (i dont believe their showing naruto on cartoon network now,i cant even watch it. makes me mad! ![]() | |

| well since most of the dub anime suck for their whacky english voice, I would have to go with anime with sub. Even though I don't understand japanese at all, I still gather hear the japanese voice and read the sub better then hearing those weird english transilater | |

| Original Anime with Subtitles I'd say, sense English voices dubbed mostly doesn't seem real (EX:Bobo-bobo-bo) They didn't even bother translating the notes in japanese to let kids know what those jokes mean, all my friends at school said it's creepy until I told them it was suppose to be about comedy. | |

| Definetly subbed. I can't believe that matching the new voices with the mouth movements and keeping the original meaning at the same time is possible. Good Dubs: Cowboy Bebop Samurai Pizza Cats (even though they didn't care about meaning at all) And I can't think of anymore ![]() | |

| i agree that some of the dubs can pass, but then i have yet to see one that might prove otherwise on my passing list. i love subtitles. im not too lazy to read them, and while im at it, i can learn some japanese on the side, i see nothing wrong with likeing subs over dubs. | |

| Well the only anime Ive ever watched and enjoyed both fansubbed and Dubbed was Cowboy Bebop, but Ive watched other series and their always better in Jap Dub and Eng Sub, and since comapnies are hoping to go off the popularity of the anime to sell it in america so they dont try to much on the Dubbing or Subbing for that matter in most.. The last show I got into was Samurai Champloo, I watched 6 eps on Cartoon Network then decided to find the fansubs and now I cant even watched the dubbed eps on TV whe ntheir on. Its just so so so different. | |

| Beginner ![]() | I go both ways subbed and dubbed , some anime thats dubbed is done well while others aren't and some anime is better subbed. i.e. many moments in azumanga daioh are better in japanese with subs. An example of poorly dubbed is irresponsible captain tylor. |
