Anime is better when-with subtitles-or-english voices dubbed - Page 16

I think subtitles are better, but only because there are so many subbed animes that my mind has been twisted into needing to read the talking or else I zone out and wonder why I was just sitting down.

Some dubs can be good:

Full Metal Alchemist
Rurouni Kenshin (just barely, the guy who does Kenshins voice in original goes through me faster than an out of date vindaloo)
Ghost in the Shell
Cowboy Beebop

Although I prefer watching subtitled anime, these ones here are good while dubbed.

It's best subbed in English with the original Japanese video/audio, IMO.
First of all the voices match alot better (I guess that's just a matter of opinion though).
However there's some cases where it's better with English voices, example being DBZ, I could never watch that in Japanese, it had to be in English.
Plus when it's in English they always cut out scenes and sometimes whole episodes...

i prefer subs, mostly on dubs the char losses the expression its like the dubbers are forcing their expression on the chars

I believe the translaters should go along with the original diologues, even if they did say a minor cuss word

big deal, if we hear a cuss word, just go out on the streets, and you'll see more than they ever show in a movie

I like english voices dubbed from anime because it's easier for me to watch and listen than to watch and read subtitles. I'm a slow reader when it comes to anime with english subtitles and sometimes it's hard to catch up to what the characters are saying.
