| As it stands, subbed. I've watched enough now that it doesn't seem the same when they come up on the screen. The only recent ones that I accepted were Blood the Last Vampire because it fit what they were trying to do. Nowadays I don't think they put half if any effort into finding someone to actually Voice Act so it just all seems poor. I also hate licensed subtitles, bland and boring ugly horrid text. Go Fansubbers. Anywho, I do and still to this day like dubs from early 90s cause they actually did have some good voice actting and I won't watch it subbed cause it wouldn't be the same : Akira (the original dub I think I remember hearing they redubbed it), 8man after, ghost in the shell, Ninja Scroll (really did have good dubbing, I'll argue that to death, though the sub was good too), Casshan Robot Hunter, Street Fighter V. | |

Posts: 94 | I think if the casting were better in the english dubs they would be better, they always seem to have some voices which don't fit the character at all, lik the english voice for Ichigo in bleach, he's got this calm and serious voice, not his character at all. |

| I'll have to say I like subs better. Half the reason the original cast is better is that for alot of anime, the character's expressions are built around the original voice actor. Then when you go to dub it, you need to find someone who can not only act, but assimilate the expressions of the original actor. Sometimes the dubbers just pick a horrible actor, for example, Chidori's American voice actor from FMP. I heard her say 3 words, and it knew it was horrible. | |

| The answer is obvious Is obviusly better the anime when it has subtitles, but it would be better in just japanese. In matter of facts I am seriously thinking about study japanesse just to see anime in his original way. When you try to translate any piece of art to another language some of his with and soul just disappear | |
