Why do you watch anime ?!

Do you watch an anime show because you expect a good show according to your tastes or you think it's a good show ?

OR

Do you watch an anime show simply because it's an anime and you treat anime like a "fetish" ?

Why does one watch TV, read a book or go to the theatre?

In my case I like to be entertained and maybe to learn a little something. I don't watch anime as a job, I'm not there to critique or review, nor am I an obsessed devotee. I approach viewing an anime in hope of perhaps enjoying the story, or gain a perspective view I hadn't seen or understood before.

While my hope is too enjoy a particular story, I prevent myself from expecting too much of anything, call it discipline of the mind or the result of being burned by over-expectation in the past, I don't put too much expectation into anime nowadays.

And I have to say while as much as I enjoy anime, I'm far from singularly devoted to the medium as a fetish would require. I'm definitely a fan, but as much as I am of watching movies at the cinema or playing video games.

Well....despite the fact that i really love to watch anime......
truth is, its the only time i actually experience emotions i dont normally have in real life....
..With anime...its the only time i actually feel sadness, sorrow and almost start ta cry too...
