| Beginner ![]() | Live Action thought list... xP I've been asking friends recently as to what anime would they love to see made into a Hollywood Live Action Blockbuster (considering they don't F*ck it up like they do with all "Japanese to American" versions.) So I'm curious to know what you want to see... |

Posts: 91 | I don't think it's possible. Even a "short" anime series last roughly 5-6 hours and we are talking SHORT! a very very long movie can go for 3 hours without people saying "End the F***ing movie already" That being said I would love to see an adaptation of Bokurano ^_^ *As a side note* There is a book called Battle Royal, which is awesome if you have not read it yet I high suggest you pick it up (long read though, it's mid 600 pages although I eat books like this for breakfast!) They made a live action movie of it that, for lack of a more descriptive and truculent slander, sucked and when I say sucked it sucked hard, I would really enjoy a movie of this in it's full entirety but I also understand that such a movie would last well into the 5 hour range.

| Beginner ![]() | None, anime shouldn't be touched by Americans hands. I'm sorry the dubbed animes are already terrible enough, sub and Japanese is the way to go. This would just ruin anime forever. Americans don't know how to pronounce the Japanese names properly, Americans like to Americanize Japanese culture, shall I go on? |

An action style anime on the other hand should work out just fine. For example I'd really love to see 'Black Lagoon' as a live action. | |

Posts: 210 | Assuming they can make one w/o screwing up, i would like to see Inu Yasha. Primarily because there are so many stories you can make a movie about one arc and if it goes well move on to another like the Harry Potter movies. Also American directors have a lot of experience now filming fantasy movies such as Lord of the Ring, Chronicles of Narnia, Etc. So they could probably make one right now. I would also like to see Bleach. All the sword fights would be great and saving Rukia would be a great movie plot. Finally, I would like to see One Piece, however, I stress that I am saying this under the premise that they would make it well. In the world we actually live in, I would rip my eyes out before seeing that movie |
