have to say he is my favorite character in the Bleach series!

cool calm, collected always! & the look on his face suggests he always has the upper hand on anybody he meets & faces!

His Shi-Kai is really cool & can do some real damage.
i'm very interested to know what his Ban-Kai is ...

so are there anoth other Gin fans out there? will be cool to do some info swapping.

this thread will prob end up a Spoiler to those who have just started watching bleach though.

i gotta admit that he is one of my favorite of the gotei 13, the only one rated higher is aizen himself (have you ever met a villian that was so kind?) the main thing i love about gin is the fact that he seems to be able to say whatever he likes, without any worries, and the fact that till this day, NO ONE knows his motives behind anything (i bet even aizen doesnt completely know what makes gin tick lol).

I liked Gin a lot when I was watching and reading the manga.

People that have an attitude that always seem calm and collected are fun. Quick and sly with what he says, making it sound like everything is fine in the worst case scenarios.

though, I think he would be the type to go on an anger rampage when everything goes to hell. *Hasn't happened yet, but characters like him have a habit of that happening.*

id hate to see the situation that makes him lose his calm demeanor. even the battle thats going on now, him and aizen seemed rather unphased by the whole thing. and here i was hoping i get to see him mangle some people... meh, only time will tell.

Hm, if you needed ab example of how anime pulls that all the time. Maximillion Pegasus always trys to act sweet and charming in Yu-gi-oh, but when the **** hit the fan his temper and outrage flies.

Gin, kind of showed it when he fought Toshiro Hitsugaya, though it never came to fruition.
Right now in Hueco Mundo though, he seems to just be sitting back and enjoying the show.

thats the cool part about him, he does not loose his control.

one of my favorite parts with Gin was in the Anime series where just before Rukia is about to get executed & Gin walks up to her to tease her about saving Ichigo's & the rest of the guys.

lol its moments like the beginning of the latest chapter that puts a smile on my face. there gin is, chilling, and generally happy that his old subordinate is doing so well... now what kind of villian shows such a "non-villian" moment? lol its like there is no animosity between him and his old comrades whatsover.... but what really makes him the bad guy is he's gonna kill em all anyway lol.

Hahahahaaa... the way he talks & his background music esp in season one are the only other give aways that he is a Bad guy!

you are right about his compassion to others esp Kira his former vice captain & not forgetting Matsumoto.

lol i forgot all about his relationship with matsumoto, it would have been very interesting if she got caught in the light and taken away to hueco mundo along with him. i think honestly think she is the only one he wouldnt kill during this recent battle.
